Dear Bernheim Community,
Thank you for your patience and kindness as we try to return to some sense of normalcy here in south central Bullitt County. We know many of our families have been impacted by the flood of 2025. Bernheim Middle School in conjunction with the BMS CEO’s is seeking donations to support the LJ Turnaround Center. Bernheim’s students' hearts are always in the right place and they care for their community in a way that is beyond their years. Let’s see how we can ban together to support the clean up needed in the coming weeks.
If you are in need of additional assistance please contact the BMS YSC, Martha Link at 502-869-4012. If she doesn’t answer please leave a message. You can also email her at martha.link@bullitt.kyschools.us , she will be more than happy to help you find resources needed.
ELS BENCHMARK TESTING
The LAST ELS benchmark assessment will be this upcoming week. Thursday will be Reading and Friday will be Math. We are so proud of the hard work our students have done and we can’t wait to see how much they have grown. Please remind students that excellent work ethic is a huge part of what we do here at BMS and to always do their best!

🎯 Archery
After a busy and successful season, things are settling down for our archery team as they shift their focus to Nationals in May. The team is staying sharp with weekly practices—Tuesdays at Cedar Grove Elementary and Wednesdays at Bernheim—gearing up to represent us well on the national stage.
⚾ Baseball
Our baseball boys came out swinging after a week off, putting up a strong fight against Bullitt Lick in a close game. Despite falling just short of the win, their effort and hustle were on full display. Thursday brought tough weather and tougher competition against Hebron, but the team continues to show grit and determination as they chase their first victory. This week, they’ll take on Bullitt Lick again—this time at Bullitt Central on Tuesday—and face off against Eastside on Thursday at the Mt. Washington Sports Complex. Both games start at 6:00 PM.
⚽ Boys’ Soccer
Even with a week off and tough weather, our boys' soccer team came out ready to play and continue to show steady improvement. While they’re still seeking that first win, their growth on the field is undeniable. They'll be back in action Tuesday with a match against Bluegrass at Bullitt Central at 6:00 PM.
⚽ Girls’ Soccer
Game on! The girls hit the field fired up and came away with their first win of the season against North Bullitt! After overcoming weather delays and a week off, their energy and teamwork were unstoppable. They’ll look to keep the momentum going Monday as they face Bluegrass at Bluegrass Middle School, kicking off at 6:00 PM.
🥎 Softball
Although the weather kept our softball team off the field this past week, the girls stayed focused and put in the work during practice. They’re eager to return to play and are ready to bring the heat next week with two exciting matchups: Monday vs. Mt. Washington at 6:00 PM and Wednesday vs. Hebron at 7:45 PM. Both games are at Mt. Washington Sports Complex.
🏃♂️ Track & Field
Our track and field athletes are training hard with practices every Tuesday and Thursday after school until 4:30 PM. Their first meet is set for this coming Saturday, April 19, at North Bullitt High School. We can’t wait to see them hit the track and showcase their speed and strength!
