Enjoy Time With Family!

Dear Bernheim Community,

We can hardly believe we are half way through the year.  This year has been exciting and we are amazed at how far BMS students have come in one short semester.  As we approach the break please remember to enjoy the moments you have with your family.  These are truly the best years, you will blink and your twelve year olds will be twenty-two year olds getting ready to graduate college. Laugh with the kids, watch their favorite shows with them, go outside and play in the snow with them, read with them and talk with them, they will always remember the special moments. Our wish is for you ALL to have a peaceful and enjoyable break!

The end of the quarter is Friday Dec 16, 2016 report cards will go home the week of January 4th - 6th.  As we are preparing for the second semester Parent Portal on IC will be shut down until Jan 2.  The office will be closed during the break, however I will be checking email as always.

Remember January 2nd and January 3rd are Teacher Planning Days, students return to school on January 4th.  We are excited about our second semester and are looking forward to seeing the students January 4!

Dear BMS Families,

It has been a great week in Bruin Nation! This week included Spirit Day for boys basket ball, we had some exciting nail-biter games. The Bernheim Bruin cheered along side our cheerleaders and helped keep the spirit high in the "Den"!

Our band had their annual Christmas concert and the students performed in front of nearly 300 parents! Thank you for coming and supporting the Arts along with your student musicians.

We are currently in the midst of our canned food drive, we have approximately 150 cans at the moment, we only have a few days left and we are far below our goal of 2500 cans.  Please bring in cans to your first period teachers.

Thank you to the parents who came to the parent meeting on December 8th to learn about the exciting learning opportunities happening after the break.
