Dear BMS Nation,
We have had a great week here in Bruin Nation. We are "Dressin Sharp" on Mondays and the students and staff alike are looking outstanding. Students are working very hard in all of their classes and students and staff alike are becoming experts in the field of technology. I am very proud of all of our members of Bruin Nation. 
Please encourage your student to live by the Bruin Way. We discuss this every morning after the pledge. We ask students to Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, Be Here and Be Bold in Kindness, Courage and Excellent Work ethic. We are starting HOUSE COMPETITIONS between the grade levels. The House that wins (grade level) will have a House Bruin Bash for just their grade. They can earn the House Bruin Bash by earning points based on categories all linked to the Bruin Way. Ask your students about it.

--Please ask students to make sure their chromebooks are charged and at school every day.
--Students must be IN THEIR CLASSROOM by 8:00 am every morning or they are considered Tardy to school- Tardy to School is an attendance event.
--PLEASE JOIN THE PTSA, THEY HAD A GREAT MEETING ON FRIDAY BUT NEED MORE SUPPORT AND MORE HELP. Students were given membership forms on Friday, it is $5 to join. PLEASE CONTACT DAWN LAMBRIGHT @ dawngaffn@yahoo.com FOR MORE INFORMATION.

--We would love to have you come and eat some really great BBQ with us and then spend time getting to know your child's school. There is no charge, it is our way of saying thank you to our families! Come and enjoy!
--Students will lead you and others through some of their favorite lessons. Students are excited about what they are learning this year and eager to share it with you.
--We will also be having the PTSA Book fair set up in the library -BMS Lyceum that evening-With Coffee and Cookies-

We are encouraging our students to read at every chance they get! Purchasing books from Scholatic is an easy way to provide for your students' reading adventure and to help support the school.

The Annual BMS PTSA FALL FESTIVAL & Auction.
Please come support BMS and your student, as well as simply have a great time! There will be games, local crafts, food, and much much more! Please come have a great night celebrating our community with your student.
The auction will be fantastic this year, we have River Rafting tickets, Mega-Cavern tickets and Disney World Tickets to auction off and much much more.
