December 11- Dec 15 News, updates and MANY CELEBRATIONS

Dear BMS Community,

Stay Healthy
Thank you for sharing your student with us, we hope everyone is well.  We notice attendance has been a little low lately.  Please help us remind students to avoid eating or drinking after one another, to wash their hands and cover their mouths and noses if they sneeze or cough.  It is that time of year when illness spread quickly! We want to keep the kids healthy!

2nd Quarter is Almost Over!
We are almost half way through the school year and that simply seems impossible! Please be checking Infinite Campus for your students current grades.  The term ends next Friday so please encourage your students to make sure they are caught up and to check in with their teachers! They are always happy to help any way they can!

On Tuesday Ms. Amiott invited Mr. Conner from BCHS and their Project Lead the Way students to come and share with the middle school students the next steps in the engineering pathway.  BMS students participate in the PLTW Gateway program as middle school students and have the opportunity to move onto the PLTW Engineering program at BCHS.  BMS students were able to work with robots and the robotics program as well as 3-D printers.  It was a great learning opportunity for the both the high school students and the middle school students! Thank you Mr. Conner and your students!

Thank you to Mr. Hall and Ms. Binkley for there visit and your dedication to BCPS students!

Thursday found BMS students all dressed up! The Cubs were in the House! Bruin Cubs that is!! They had a great day at Actors Theater as they attended the play A Christmas Carol. Thank you 6th grade teachers and parents for spending the time to make this a great experience for our youngest Bruins!
