3/25/24-3/29/24: BMS Newsbytes: News, Updates, Celebrations, Online Registration links and more!

Dear Bernheim Community,

Thank you to everyone who came out to Freddy’s to support BMS, good company, good food, for a good cause!  This week was another big shake up at BMS, we have moved more students and teachers into new spaces.  The spaces are so classy and collegiate, not to mention, beautiful.

The Cubbies had their House Bash on Friday for winning the House competition for Quarter Three, they had a great time! They are well on their way to winning for Quarter Four too!

ONLINE REGISTRATION

We are encouraging all students’ families to get their online registration done ASAP! Any House that has all families registered by Monday 100% will get to “Sit Where You Want” (SWYW) at lunch for the rest of the year.  If they don’t reach that goal, if we get at least 20 families per grade level registered by Monday we will give them a SWYW at lunch the next day! Help them out!

TRANSPORTATION CHANGES??

If you need to make a change to transportation during the day, call the school prior to 2:30 pm and then send in a transportation change note to Ms Jennifer Vittitoe jennifer.vittitoe@bullitt.kyschools.us You must call in to speak with someone and a written note will be required.

We do our best to keep you informed! BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class.  The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information you might need. Individual teacher websites are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school.  Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected.  Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  We also have @henryclaytime  on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
