Dear Bernheim Community,
This week has certainly been an unusual one! We appreciate everyone’s efforts in getting students up and ready for NTI. It was great to see so many students actively participating online!
Please remember that students must engage in NTI for the day to count—otherwise, they may have to make it up during the summer.
Meanwhile, we’re still dealing with a wave of illnesses at BMS. Please encourage students to wash their hands, cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing, and take all necessary precautions to stay healthy. Our attendance over the past two weeks has been very low, and we want to see everyone back in good health soon!

COUNSELOR’S CORNER
A huge thank you to all our students for participating in Kindness Week spirit days and, most importantly, for spreading kindness to others! Your thoughtful actions and positive energy made a difference in our school and community. Let’s keep the kindness going—because as Huston Kraft says, "Kindness is not about convenience. It’s a commitment to looking, speaking, and acting with love, especially when it’s hard." Keep shining your kindness every day!

All Star Students of the Week
We do our best to keep you informed! BMS NewsBytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information you might need. Make sure you have downloaded the BCPS app and entered your students code for ROOMS. All information is there for teachers lessons! It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school. Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected. Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, X and Instagram. We also have @henryclaytime on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your students.
