March 18- March 22 Celebrations, Information and Updates

Dear BMS Community,

Looking forward to a great week! Please see the many student celebrations listed in the celebration section.  Thank you for your support as we continue to work tirelessly to help all students grow to be Distinguished by Excellence. 

  

BMS PTSA will be hosting the "Connected Take Charge of your Digital Life" night for parents and students.  In this age of technology it is so important that you and your student can talk about technology and the "forever factor" of the Internet.

Please join us MONDAY, MARCH 18 from 5:30- 7:00 pm in the Bernheim Cafe for a night of sharing in learning about the tech world!! There will be snacks, door prizes and great opportunity to learn with your kids! House Points for each student that shows up with their parent!

BRUIN BASH COMING UP! - MUST BE PASSING ALL CLASSES, FOR 3RD NINE WEEKS AND 4TH NINE WEEKS, BE FREE OF MAJOR DISCIPLINE ISSUES FOR THE 4TH NINE WEEKS AND HAVE ABSENT NOTES IN BY THE DUE DATE. Make this the biggest Bruin Bash yet!

    STATE ARCHERY TOURNAMENT 
    Bruins took 5th place in 3D and 3rd place in Bullseye. 
    Sam W took 5th place in 3D as an individual. 
    Bruins performed for the KMEA competition. 
    They earned proficient.

are always happy to help.  There are so many ways to keep up with what is going on at BMS.  BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, please favorite this website.  The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher websites which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school.  Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected.  Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Remind.  As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
