BMS NEWSBYTES: Leaders of the Month, Students of the Week! News, Updates and Celebrations!

Dear Bernheim Community,

Though it was a short week it was a good week. Students are wrapping up their first nine weeks and getting ready for the second!

Do you like Chick-Fil-A? Would you like a chance to meet your child's’ teachers and see some of the great things your students are doing? Please join us at our Annual Title 1- Literacy Night: Be a Bruin Night on October 20th from 5:30-7:30pm.   Guardians/Parents can meet your students’ teachers starting with their advisory teachers. Students will be helping present a short lesson for their parents highlighting the great things they are doing in class.  After you have visited classrooms we will be offering a “Grab and Go” Chick-fil-a supper. (While supplies last!)  Please fill out the  attached RSVP registration form so we can have enough Chick-fil-a for the evening.   We are looking forward to seeing you and your students! KONA Ice should be available for purchase as well! Come Join US!

BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher webpages which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school.  Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected.  Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook and Remind. We also have @hentryclaytime  on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.

Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your students.
