11/13/23-11/17/23 BMS Newsbytes: Student Celebrations! News and More!

Dear Bernheim Community,

It has been a busy short week here in Bruin Nation! Friday found BMS honoring Nation’s Veterans. Students led the assembly with poise and grace, our student body was extremely respectful and we were so proud as they sang the National Anthem together.  Bullitt County has blessed BMS with the best kids anywhere! They did a fantastic job!

FRIENDSGIVING DANCE

We look forward to the Friendsgiving Dance on November 17th.  $5 entry fee, must be passing all classes and free of major behavior events.   We hope to see all the students there!

BMS  has a house system that is based on students' year of graduation.  Each house can earn points based on areas that are linked to the Bruin Way.  Points are earned by the percentage of the house on the honor roll, free from referrals, attendance, school spirit, showing responsibility for yourself and others,  participation in community service, random acts of kindness, and more!

We do our best to keep you informed! BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class.  The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information you might need. Individual teacher websites are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school.  Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected.  Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  We also have @henryclaytime  on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.

Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your students.
