Dear BMS Community,
Bruin Nation was GAME ON this week! We poured two weeks worth of BMS excitement into one week. Seventh grade had their Leadership Conference on Monday, eighth graders visited BAMS/ROC/ATC on Thursday and the seventh grade had their house "Bears Bash." Friday we had our Renaissance Rally celebrating student success and hard work, students had a great time. 
Thank you to Ms. Watkins, Ms. Tepe, Ms. Breeze, Ms. Korby, Ms. Bush, Ms. Jenkins and Mr. Davis for organizing the Renaissance Rally! Thank you Ms. Watkins for organizing the 8th grade trip to the ROC, and thank you to Ms. Schell and Ms. Jenkins for organizing the 7th grade Leadership conference. Thank you to Ms. Schell for organizing the Bears Bash! Whew! That is evidence of the hard work BMS Teachers put forth to support BMS students!

****MAP TESTING BEGINS THIS WEEK! PLEASE MAKE SURE STUDENTS ARE GETTING ENOUGH SLEEP, EATING BREAKFAST AND ARE AT SCHOOL. WE ARE CONSTANTLY REINFORCING THE VALUE OF HARD WORK AND DOING YOUR BEST HERE AT BMS. We know they will do fantastic on this round of MAP testing!

8th Grade Important Information
January 30--8th Grade Visit to BCHS for scheduling information and High School tour. 9:00-11:00 am--There is ONE permission slip covering both dates,(click here) That went home Friday Jan 19!
January 31- Parents are invited to Bullitt Central High School for an informational meeting regarding high school scheduling 6:00 p.m. Jan 31.
Student Celebrations
Congratulations to All BMS Gold Status Winners, Silver Status Winners, Bronze Status Winners, Be Bold Pin Winners and to our BRUIN EXCELLENCE AWARD Winners (click here to see listing of students) Students celebrated their success Friday during the BMS Renaissance Rally. They had cupcakes, games, celebrations, gifts and gift cards! We are very proud of Bruin Nation and all of their hard work.
