11/18/24 BMS Newsbytes: Check it Out!

 Dear Bernheim Community,

This week at BMS, our students have truly shined! They did an outstanding job honoring our veterans during the Veterans Day ceremony, showcasing respect and gratitude for those who have served our country. Additionally, they embraced the spirit of Kindness Week, going above and beyond to show intentional kindness to their peers and community. Their efforts and positive attitudes remind us of the amazing character and heart of our BMS family. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them!

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

**World Kindness Day Success at Bernheim Middle School!**

We’re excited to share the success of our World Kindness Day activities, which brought smiles and positivity to our school! Students participated in Kindness Grams, spreading uplifting messages that were delivered Friday, and engaged in a fun-filled game of Kindness BINGO, where small acts of kindness earned them an opportunity to get drawn for special rewards. Additionally, students took the time to write notes, leaving them on lockers to brighten the day of their peers. It was a wonderful reminder of the power of kindness and the strong, supportive community we’re building together at Bernheim. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this day truly special!

If you have any questions or need counseling support, please feel free to email amy.bush@bullitt.kyschools.us.

ATTENDANCE
Attendance is vital to your student’s success.  When your child does miss, please be sure that you send in a doctor or parent note with your student the next day.  Students are allowed six parent notes a year.  If there is a day your student misses because their bus isn’t running, you must call the school to notify us or send in a note the next day so we can excuse the day.  If you have any questions regarding attendance, please contact Mrs. Vittitoe at 869-4000.
