2/24/17

 Dear BMS Community,

We hope you have a wonderful weekend and are able to get some rest! Students had a short week this week but it was jam packed.  Students worked on reading skills as well as writing in response to reading.  We have been intentionally working on literacy across the content areas this school year.  Students are engaged in literacy activities in Math, Science and Social Studies, Language Arts, Music, Art and Technology classes.  We know engaging students in reading and writing across the curriculum helps students make meaningful connections to the content learned in class. We are seeing students make great strides in their ability to think deeply in response to content students are learning in class.  We are very proud of BMS students.

Please check your student's grades through Infinite Campus, if you see students have missing assignments or low grades in general please contact teachers with any questions you may have.  We offer extended school services which can help students be successful. Teachers are ready, willing and able to help support BMS students, please call them with any questions. They truly are eager to help.

This week was the annual UK vs UL game students and staff alike had a great time.  Though I know 50% of you will be disappointed Louisville won!
