We have had a great week here at BMS Ms. Cornell has the students engaged in a cross-curricular project on heat transfer. They were working on so many real world life skills there are too many to mention. They were focused on task and know what it means to "work as a scientist". Ms. Schell's 7th graders are engineering their heat transfer project, collecting data and analyzing the results.
Ms. Watkins has students reading challenging text and monitoring for meaning while they learn about colonial life. Ms. Amiott students are writing children's' stories, making PSA movies and running DNA. She had the students learning from tests that didn't go correctly - and that is how science happens! Great work all the way around!
We are excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual BE A BRUIN NIGHT OCTOBER 17- Please come out and join us for a BBQ at BMS. We are going to eat and then students will be presenting sessions on what it is like to "Be A Bruin!" We are excited to share their excitement with you! We will open the doors at 5:30 pm.
--We will have the PTSA Book Fair set up in the library -BMS with Coffee and Cookies-

We are encouraging our students to read at every chance they get! Purchasing books from Scholastic is an easy way to provide for your students' reading adventure and to help support the school.
Online Spirit Wear Store: You asked for it, it is here!
Many of you asked if we could create an online spirit wear store. We have done just that and it is a fundraiser for Bernheim Middle School. We hope you like the products. The company is Fancloth and you are purchasing from them directly.
We have linked the site here and it is linked above.
