BMS Updates 2/26-3/2

Dear BMS Community,

It has been a great week here in Bruin Nation we have had so many great things going on and it has only been three days! Students are working hard and we are very proud of them.   In science this week students completed their through course tasks.  Students are reading The Diary of Anne Frank in 8th grade ELA, reading The Watsons Go To Birmingham in 7th grade ELA and are working on writing and reading poetry in 6th grade ELA.

This upcoming week we will have our School Wide Bruin Bash on Friday.  Criteria for the Bash includes - No Failing Grades, No Major Behavior incidents and students MUST BE HERE ON TUESDAY FEB 27 for our school wide scrimmage mid year assessment test.  They must also give their absolute best effort on the assessment.  So please make sure your students are here every day, and especially on Tuesday for the scrimmage mid year assessment and please help us encourage them to DO THEIR BEST.  We appreciate your support every day!
