BMS News, Information, and Celebrations 2/21-2/26

Dear BMS Community,

Thank you for continuing to support BMS as we work to grow students into leaders for the next generation.  Please know we are working to protect BMS students and keep them safe at all times as that is our number one priority. We will continue to move forward creating the best learning environment for students possible and thank you for your support as we do so.

A great big SHOUT OUT to Mr. Cravens and the UA team for organizing and facilitating the American Heart Association Hoops for Heart program here at BMS.  The week was filled with spirit and was a great way for students to engage in community service! The week ended with the annual UK/UL Student Staff Basketball game.  If we were only counting points for who was wearing blue or red, then UK would have won, but in the end the UL team won the game! We are all Bruins so, GO BRUINS!

Another special shout out to Ms. Angela Harper from the BMS PTSA on February 8th she presented all 450(+) students with a fun surprise celebrating the first 100 days of school.  We have the absolute best parents right here in Bruin Nation! Thank you so much for always being there for students!

While we are speaking about parents, another huge shout out to all the dads who came to our Donuts for Dads Celebration on February 13th.  The students loved having you here and we loved having you too! Your student will remember you taking the time out of your busy day for the rest of their lives! Thank you BMS men, we appreciate you.  Thank you Ms. Jenkins for setting it up and making it happen! BMS YSC rocks!
