Dear BMS Community:
It has been a very busy week at BMS this week. Unfortunately, there have been many absences due to illness. We hope everyone gets well soon and is back to school next week to join us for BMS Spirit week with Friday being the annual staff UK vs UL basketball game all in support of the American Heart Association. Please make sure students have doctors notes or parent notes upon their return from being sick. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Action Required
MID-TERMS and Immunization Notices went home Friday. Please remember the state has changed the law on immunization records and each student is required to have the newest immunization form by the start of next school year. We won't be able to enroll ANY students without the correct immunization record. Ms. Dillman attached a notice to each individual student letting parents know if their record meets the criteria for the state or if the student will need to visit their pediatrician. IT IS imperative that each parent/guardian receive both Mid-Term and the Immunization Record. Please sign the bottom portion of the Mid-term and return it to school by Friday 2/16/18. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. If you have any questions regarding the immunization records please call Ms. Dillman in the BMS front office. You may also email her at stephanie.dillman@bullitt.kyschools.us. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your student's mid-terms please contact your student's teachers. 7TH GRADE ONLY- The 7th grade is going on a field trip to the Kentucky Derby Museum on Monday, February 26. Students were given hard copies of the required permission slips this past Tuesday and are to be turned into their first period teacher by no later than Thursday, February 15. At this point less than 40 students have brought back their forms and money.-- Please see Ms. Schell's email that went out Friday for more information.
