9/17-9/21 BMS Celebrations, Updates and More!

Dear BMS Community,

What a great week at BMS! We are so proud of how much effort our students poured into their MAP test this week.  Keep it up! We appreciate all of their hard work.  When they weren't MAP testing their teachers were engaging them in challenging learning experiences.   They were thinking like scientists and historians.  They were using math in the real world and are learning to use their literacy skills across all areas!

Attendance Matters:
Please help us make sure your student is getting the best education possible.  Student attendance is one of the key factors in graduation rates from both high school and college. Students should make it a habit now to "show up", be present and BE HERE. Please make sure your student is at school and is ready to learn!

Students who are here 5 days in a row have the chance to be picked to participate in Game Day during lunch! Students get to play games with a friends, talk and generally have a fun celebration.  We hope students enjoy this time and we want to celebrate students who follow the Bruin Way by being HERE! Showing up is half way to success!

KENTUCKY'S High Attendance day is September 20th it would be extraordinary if we had 100% attendance that day! Please help us help students by making sure they are here!
