9/5-9/7 Updates and Student Celebrations!

Dear BMS Community,
It has been a fantastic week here in Bruin Nation! Students have been working very hard and are using technology in so many innovative ways! The world now is so different than even just 10 years ago. Students are using a program called Flipgrid to explain their thinking to their peers and teachers and providing feedback and asking questions of one another; all with the use of their Chromebooks!

Students all over Bruin Nation are engaging in high level engaging work! Students in Ms. Cravens Math class are having a great time while learning math through a challenging review activity and Mr. McCamish's students are engaging in the engineering process while discovering the work involved with applied sciences.

FIRST BRUIN BASH, THIS FRIDAY!

First BRUIN BASH is this Friday! Please make sure your student doesn't have any unexcused absences.  Students must have all work turned into their teachers and be passing all their classes! We are also expecting students to be free of major behavior events.  This is really a great student celebration and some great time for a kid to be a kid! Please help us by checking students grades on Parent Portal.  If students need a parent note due to a recent absence- please make sure they get it turned in! We want as many students to participate as possible!
