BMS News, Celebrations and UPDATES! 9/23-9/27

Dear Bernheim Community,

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO INVITE YOU TO BE A BRUIN NIGHT! Please come and have some of Ms. Connie's WORLD Famous Chili and see your students share the AMAZING things they are doing in class! It is a great night of food, family and fun! You will get a quick snapshot of the learning your students are engaged in and have the opportunity to connect with teachers and staff at BMS!  I will also present a Title 1 update during one of the sessions.

Each student who comes and brings a parent/guardian earns double house points for their house and the competition is close! Ask your kids about it!  We will round out our evening with a "Minute to Win It" and a Dodgeball game with Students vs. Teachers (Be gentle the teachers are old) - We are excited to have this time with you and we hope to see you all there!

Box Tops for Education is an easy method to support schools. They have a cool new app, that allows you to scan receipts and the box top funds go straight to your school account- supper easy and costs families nothing other than a second or two to scan items receipts.

As always we are always happy to help in any way we can. There are so many ways to keep up with what is going on at BMS.  BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, please favorite this website. BMS Class Highlights is each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class.  The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher websites which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school.  Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected.  Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Remind. We also have @hentryclaytime  on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your student.
