10/21-10/25 Celebrations, News, Updates and Leaders of the Month for Sept!

Dear Bernheim Community,

Thank you for supporting your students as they grow and push toward success.  At BMS we truly believe in the unlimited potential of every student.  We know the future belongs to our students and we are helping them create a legacy of excellence in all they do.

We had a very busy week with students.  The Grizzlies went to the play Dracula at Actors Theater and by all accounts it was fantastic.  Our students were outstanding and we couldn't be prouder of them! BMS students took the district CASE assessment this week in both reading and math.  This assessment has replaced MAP testing for students and is criterion referenced.  We will use this data to help drive instruction and help students grow as readers and mathematicians.

BIG NEWS!

The CUBS won the house competition this nine weeks and had their House Bash today.  It was a lot of fun and students had a great time! Now to see who wins the second nine weeks House Bash!

BIG SHOUT OUT AND THANK YOU

A huge shout out to all the parents and staffulty who came and support the BMS PTSA Fall Festival! We had a great night with the community! Between the Auction, Games, Haunted Forest, Chic-Fil-A, and all around fun, it was a fantastic night!

As always we are always happy to help in any way we can. There are so many ways to keep up with what is going on at BMS.  BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, please favorite this website. BMS Class Highlights is each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class.  The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher websites which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school.  Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected.  Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Remind. We also have @hentryclaytime  on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your student.
