What a great week! Muffins with Moms Title 1 event was a huge success. We explained BMS Social Emotional Learning Program and gave away t-shirts, and door prizes. Ms. Jenkins, the PTSA and the BMS Staffulty did a great job planning and organizing the event. We had a great time with families and we had so many folks we had two overflow areas! We are so grateful for our BMS Families! 
We also had our first ever Pal-en-tines Dance. It was also a huge success and we were able to support the Renaissance Program here at BMS. Thank you to all the Staffulty who helped out and thank you to all the kiddos who came with their boogie shoes! It was a great time.
While all of these fun activities are going on, we are every day pushing students to excel! Students are learning about ocean currents, mitigating negative effects of natural hazards, and how to effectively create an argumentative writing piece, this among many other learning events in each of the students classrooms! BMS is rocking!

Q: How do I keep up with my student's progress in all their classes?
Answer: The number one way to keep up with your student's progress is to be
linked to infinite campus/parent portal- (log on page linked) You can set it up to send notifications directly to your phone. Email teachers if you have questions they are always happy to help.

Random Act of Kindness Day.
As always we are always happy to help in any way we can. There are so many ways to keep up with what is going on at BMS. BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, please favorite this website. BMS Class Highlights is each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher websites which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school. Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected. Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Remind. We also have @hentryclaytime on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
