10/26-10/30 ReWind & News, Updates and Student Celebrations

Dear Bernheim Community,

It is so hard to say, but we are headed back to remote learning for next week.  Dr. Bacon will update us next Friday as to the following week.  I explained to all the "In-Person" learning students that even though they are remote next week, they need to be up at 8:00 am and on their google advisory classroom by 8:40am.  There are many many informational pieces, not to mention morning announcements, that are happening in advisory.  The Remote Learning Schedule is below.  IF they have questions please have them ask their advisory teachers.  Teachers want to help students out any way they can! With this Friday being the last day of the 1st nine weeks, it is critical that students get their work completed and turned in to their teachers.  ALL BMS students need to be GAME ON!

BCPS WILL KEEP US INFORMED ON ALL THE INFORMATION REGARDING SCHOOL
Please make sure have you have signed up for messages through infinite campus and check them often.  Hopefully we will be back in person the week after next.  Check out BCPS website and Facebook page for latest district updates and keep this page favorited on your device!
October 28th 5:00-7:00 pm
BMS Virtual Title 1 Parent Night

You are invited to log into your student's advisory teacher's Virtual Meeting in their Google Classroom where the Advisory teacher will share with parents and students some of the key ways we connect with parents, as well as how we are working to use Title 1 Grant to help BMS students grow and be successful!   After the brief meeting with the whole group for advisory, you have the opportunity to sign up for a short personal meet and greet with your students advisory teacher.   Connecting has been so hard to do this year, we miss the Fall Festival, Be A Bruin Night,  and all the other family events we had pre-Covid-19.  Let's make the most of this virtual BMS Title 1 Parent Night ! Please click on the appropriate link per grade level to sign up for a short meet and greet session with your student's advisory teacher!  We look forward to "seeing" you then!

As always we are always happy to help in anyway
we can. There are so many ways to keep up with what is going on at BMS.
BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, please favorite this website. BMS Class Highlights is each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class.  The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher websites (also linked above) which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school.  Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected.  Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Remind. We also have @hentryclaytime  on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your student.
