Dear Bernheim Community,
Morning Car Rider procedures have changed again.
The CDC guidelines have changed again, which brings us good news, no more temperature checks in the morning. Procedures for morning car rider drop off will remain the same excluding the temperature check. So that means two lines of cars and Ms. Bush will still direct traffic. The first two cars in each line will be given the directive for students to exit their car. Once students are safely to the sidewalk Ms. Bush will signal the line to move. This will be much like the afternoon car rider procedure. Please follow Ms. Bush's instructions so we can keep all kids safe. Students still must wear masks upon exiting the vehicle and be ready to jump out of their cars.
Supporting Students
BMS provides social emotional support for students in many ways including mentoring, advisory, mental health therapist, a school counselor, character education, college and career guidance and of course the school therapy dog. We believe in the whole child and supporting them, every student, every day! As always please email amy.bush@bullitt.kyschools.us with any questions or counseling needs.

The school day is from 8:00am -3:00pm every day. Please have your student up and on their Zoom classes.

ATTENDANCE:
Students do need to be here on the days the are scheduled for, if they are not here it is an absence. Students need to be in their classroom by 8:00 am, or they are considered tardy. This is the same as it has been in years past. Students must be on their chromebooks doing their school work on the days they are at home as well. The school day begins at 8:00 am, please make sure students are up and going even if they are in the BCA and on Wednesday.

BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher websites (also linked above) which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school. Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected. Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Remind. We also have @hentryclaytime on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog.
