Dear Bernheim Community,
Mother Nature has not been our friend this winter, but the Catch The Wave Renaissance Rally will be MONDAY! Have your student wear their favorite Beach T-Shirt, Lifeguard hoodie, or beach hat. (All dress code appropriate of course) The Gold, Silver and Bronze card earners will have some extra fun throughout the day and all students will get to participate in the end of the day Rally! We are so proud of what your students have accomplished this year. The last three years have been a challenge to be sure but Bernheim students continue to rise to the occasion and we are so proud of them!
Friday is the Palentines Dance as well! 3:15-4:30 pm, students must be passing all classes and free from behavior events for the 3rd nine weeks. $5.00 to get in and concessions will be available.
As of now, we have been able to use NTI days for our weather events and so far the last day of school is still May 20th. Please make sure that if an NTI day is called that your student is up and on their virtual classes and completing their work. We certainly want all NTI days to count as a “school day” so that students can get out of school on May 20th. That is the earliest students last day has been for a very long time. Come on Summer and warm weather!

January 29
Despite the weather’s best attempt to derail our plans this weekend we were able to sneak in another state qualifier on Saturday afternoon/evening at St James School in Elizabethtown. Another impressive win and we are still hunting that first goal of 3300. We appreciate everyone braving the weather!
Individual highlights:
Boys - Trey 1st, Mark 2nd, Samuel 3rd, Eli 5th
Girls - Riley 3rd

BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher webpages which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school. Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected. Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook and Remind. We also have @hentryclaytime on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your students.
