Dear Bernheim Community,
This week in Bruin Nation we had the spring Bruin Bash. More than 60% of our students were eligible. Grades for the 3rd quarter are being finalized and students are working to make sure they are up to date and demonstrating learning. We have 12 students participating in KUNA this week and we are very proud of their hard work!
Students received a behavior contract that went home this week in regard to end of year activities. Those behavior contracts need to be returned by March 11th. All three houses have scheduled a field trip for the last day of school. This is exciting as this will be the first field trip students have had the opportunity to take since 2020. We hope all students remain eligible and are able to participate. Please continue to encourage your students to follow the Bruin Way daily. We work alongside families to teach students to Work Hard and Be Kind. #GoBruins

BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher webpages which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school. Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected. Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook and Remind. We also have @hentryclaytime on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your students.
