March 17, 2025. BMS Newsbytes: News, Celebrations and More! Check it out!

Dear Bernheim Community,

We are excited to celebrate the incredible work of our students! From using mathematics and geometry to design stunning stained-glass windows to modeling how geometry ensures the safe landing of airplanes, our students are applying their learning in exciting, real-world ways. They are thinking like scientists and investigators in forensic studies, exploring the world with curiosity and critical thinking. Across all grade levels, our students are engaged in innovative and hands-on projects, and we couldn't be more proud of their hard work and creativity!

COMMUNITY NIGHT-UNPLUG AND CREATE

The Youth Services Center is partnering with the Bullitt County Public Library to host a Family Night Tuesday, March 18th from 4:30-6:30pm. The YSC will be providing a free meal and plant pots for families to paint together. Disconnect from social media, spend quality time together, and learn about the importance of screen-free activities for your family!

Please use this form to RSVP:

END OF YEAR ACTIVITIES

End-of-Year Field Trip & Activities – Important Eligibility Information

All three houses have exciting field trips planned for the last day of school, along with many other fun activities! Our goal is for every student to participate, but they must meet the following eligibility requirements:

✅ Follow The Bruin Way (avoid behavior events)
✅ Complete their student portfolio
✅ Be passing all classes

Unfortunately, if a field trip is already paid for and a student loses their privilege to attend, we cannot issue refunds. The vendors require payment in advance and do not refund the school.

Our expectation is that all students will remain eligible and enjoy these events!

Behavior Contracts – Final Reminder

Students were required to submit a Behavior Contract for End-of-Year Activities. These were due last week, but we are offering a grace period for any last-minute submissions.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

Spring Into the New Season!

With the arrival of spring next week, it’s the perfect time to get outside and enjoy the fresh air! Warmer weather and longer days provide a great opportunity for students to take a break from screens, get active, and spend time with family and friends. Whether it’s a walk in the park, riding bikes, or just soaking up the sunshine, encouraging outdoor time can boost mood, energy, and overall well-being. Let’s make the most of this beautiful season! 🌸☀️
