Dear Bernheim Community,
Spring is in the air, and we are thrilled to be entering this exciting season with our BMS students! While there is still plenty of important work to do, the coming months are also filled with opportunities for growth, celebration, and community impact. One highlight of this season is the incredible work of our BMS CEO’s Student Leadership Group, who recently met with the mayor to develop ideas for making a positive difference in our community. Their passion and dedication embody the spirit of BMS, and we can’t wait to see their ideas come to life.
One of their inspiring ideas is to create a raised bed community garden where students can grow vegetables to support and donate to the local food pantry. This project will become a school-wide effort, with multiple classes and students from various areas working together to make it a success. To bring this vision to life, we are seeking donations of soil, small gardening tools, and other gardening supplies. If you are able to contribute, please reach out to April Watkins at april.watkins3@bullitt.kyschools.us. We appreciate your support in helping our students make a meaningful impact in our community!
COMMUNITY NIGHT-UNPLUG AND CREATE

The YSC will be providing a free meal and plant pots for families to paint together. Disconnect from social media, spend quality time together, and learn about the importance of screen-free activities for your family!

All Star Students of the Week
We do our best to keep you informed! BMS NewsBytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information you might need. Make sure you have downloaded the BCPS app and entered your students code for ROOMS. All information is there for teachers lessons! It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school. Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected. Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, X and Instagram. We also have @henryclaytime on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
