TRANSPORTATION
YOU MUST call the school no later than 2:30 pm! The cut off time is crucial to help make sure your students are given the information prior to dismissal. If you need to make a change to transportation during the day, call the school prior to 2:30 pm and then send in a transportation change note to Ms Jennifer Vittitoe jennifer.vittitoe@bullitt.kyschools.us You must call in to speak with someone and a written note will be required.
Due to overcrowding on some bus routes students will not be permitted to ride home with friends as a rule.
Bus Riders and CAR Riders-
Please make sure you have a Car Rider Tag in your dash while picking up your student. We gave one (or more) to each student so that as we have bus outages parents will still have a “tag” to pick up their student. If the tag is not displayed, BMS staff may be asking to see the ID of the person picking up the student. Tags not being displayed will surely slow the car rider line. Please contact the school if you will need an additional car rider tag.
BMS Community Service Project
Beginning Monday, the 28th, we will begin collecting items for the Animal Shelter in Honor of our Therapy Dog, Henry Clay’s 5th Birthday. Students will turn the items into their Advisory Teacher each morning. Though students are doing this work simply to be kind, there will be a pizza party for the winning Advisory Crew! Please help support our community by supporting the Bullitt County Animal Shelter through this project.PTSA

We do our best to keep you informed! BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information you might need. Individual teacher websites are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school. Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected. Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. We also have @hentryclaytime on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your students.
