SAME DAY TRANSPORTATION CHANGES??
To ensure smooth transportation arrangements, please contact the school by 2:30 pm if you need to make any changes. Here's how to update your student's transportation:
Call the school before 2:30 pm.
Send a transportation change note to Ms. Jennifer Vittitoe at jennifer.vittitoe@bullitt.kyschools.us.
Be sure to speak with someone at the school and provide the written note. Please note: Due to overcrowding, students typically cannot ride home with friends.

COUNSELOR’S CORNER
Our Advisory Crews have already started working on Career exploration with SchoolLinks this year. We will be diving into serving our community in big and small ways throughout the year. During advisory we will be reinforcing and connecting the Graduate Profile Competencies to the life of a Bruin! We believe in community service and will continue to promote being servant leaders through the school year.
September 9th through the 13th we will be supporting families who have faced Childhood Cancer. BMS is having a toy drive for Norton’s Children's Hospital. All week from September 9th through the 13th Advisory CREWS are collecting and accepting new, unopened toys. Of course it will all go toward the House Competition, but that is not why we do things! We do the right thing, BECAUSE it is the right thing. Spreading a little cheer in the face of daunting challenges is the least we can do to support families. Please help support the Toy Drive at BMS.

BCPS has sent home a code for you to access your students “ROOMS”. Please make sure you have signed up. Once you do you are in for the rest of your students BCPS career. Teachers have posted materials, resources, and other classroom essentials there.

ATHLETES : Please know that student athletes are held to a high standard. Their grades and conduct will be checked weekly. Students must be passing all classes to play for BMS as well be in good standing with their conduct. All Star Students of the Week
We do our best to keep you informed! BMS NewsBytes is our weekly newsletter, favorite this blog and the school website. BMS Class Highlights includes each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information you might need. Make sure you have downloaded the BCPS app and entered your students code for ROOMS. All information is there for teachers lessons! It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school. Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected. Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, X and Instagram. We also have @henryclaytime on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
