Feb 11-Feb 15, News, Updates, and Celebrations

Dear BMS Community,
Please join us on Feb 14 @ 8:30 am for Muffins with Mom! Donuts with Dad was a great success and there is nothing better than spending a little bit of time with your child! We are so excited to offer this opportunity to our school community and we love it when students can share a little bit of their BMS experience with their parents. So we look forward to having our mamas in the house!

What a great week it has been! The PTSA helped celebrate the 100th day of school and students were very appreciative! The 8th grade Grizzlies visited the ROC/ATC and BAMS.  It is time for students to apply for those programs if they are interested in them.  Please print out the linked paper form and turn  homeroom teacher (8th only) or Ms. Smith as soon as possible.

BMS students are engaged in so many fun learning activities this week Mr. Carnes ELA students worked on poetry and completed the BREAKOUT Box poetry challenge.   They are working on reading and writing poetry and recently completed an assessment on the topic.  Ask students about their poems!

Attendance Matters:
Attendance has been horrible as of late.  We know there has been so many germs going around we are doing everything we can to stop the spread here.  Please remind students of healthy habits, let's get them well and get them back in school.
