Dear BMS Community,
We want to thank all the parents who joined the PTSA and FRYSC at BMS for our Title 1 Muffins with Moms event on Valentines Day! What a great morning, we continue to support families and family involvement at BMS as we know the success of every student starts at home. We so appreciate our BMS Community!
It was a great celebration week for the Reading Contest as well at BMS we had THREE classes it another goal and were able to serve up popcorn parties and an ICE Cream party! Keep READING BMS! "The more you read the more you know, the more you know the more places you will go!"
We had our annual Hoops for Heart UK/UL Basketball Faculty/Student Game on Friday and it was a great back and forth game until the very end-- Who won in the end? Yeah, it was the C-A-R-D-S. It was a fun afternoon for all!

Attendance Matters:
Be Here! Show Up! It matters! Here in Bruin Nation we are instilling in students the importance of having excellent work ethic. Part of having excellent work ethic is showing up to "work".
It would seem at this point just about everyone at BMS has had or is recovered from the flu. Hopefully we are on the mend and we can focus on learning. Let's get kids back in school and encourage positive attendance habits.
