MAP Testing Monday! Bring Charged Chromebook! & Student Celebrations, Information, and Updates and more!

Dear Bernheim Community,

Another stellar week at BMS! Students are working hard, completing projects and the energy in the building is up.  Though students are gearing up for summer they are still working hard! Ask your Cubs about the book Touching Spirit Bear and making water rockets.  Check in with the Bears about their Socratic circles comparing the novel, The Giver, to the movie of the same title.  The Grizzlies are working on a bracket in Social studies, ask them who they think the greatest American of all time might be.  Make sure to ask your Arts students what they have been working on too! Such great things going on right up to the last minute.

MAP TESTING is Monday! Sleep well, HAVE YOUR CHROMEBOOK AT SCHOOL AND CHARGED! YOU MUST HAVE YOUR CHROMEBOOK. WE WILL HAVE A BRUIN BASH IN THE AFTERNOON AND ALL STUDENTS WHO ARE SHOWING GREAT WORK ETHIC WILL GET TO PARTICIPATE-

BE HERE AND BE READY!  Thank you for your support as we work hard to help students reach beyond their potential.

are always happy to help.  There are so many ways to keep up with what is going on at BMS.  BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, please favorite this website.  The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher websites which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school.  Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected.  Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Remind.  As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
Thank you again for providing us the opportunity to serve you and your student.
