Dear Bernheim Community,
We are so excited to have Bruin Nation back together. We are coining a new phrase here at BMS, all faculty and staff are hereby known as the Staffulty. The reason for this is we are all here to support each and Every Student, Every Day. We believe in their unlimited potential to succeed as 21st Century collaborators, communicators, innovative creators, and to persevere in solution finding. We know BMS students will be positive influencers in the world, changing the world as we know it! All staffulty here at BMS want to say thank you for sending your cherished treasures to BMS, please know we will do our best to help them grow while growing alongside them.
Already this year students have experienced their first whole school Renaissance Rally at the Bruin Bonanza on the first day of school. They have had a Minute to Win It house competition and the BEARS are Rocking the HOUSE in the Spirit department. Each classroom visited this week is going far above the normal procedures and routines in the way of creating an atmosphere where each student feels like they belong, are valued and are safe.
Once we gather everything we can start passing out lockers and Chromebooks. We started distributing chromebooks on Friday and will continue throughout the week. We really want all students to get their lockers quickly, so please make sure all forms have been signed and turned in to the homeroom teacher! We very much appreciate your help with this!

are always happy to help. There are so many ways to keep up with what is going on at BMS. BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, please favorite this website. The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher websites which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school. Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected. Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Remind. We also have @hentryclaytime on Instagram to keep up with the antics of our school therapy dog. As you can see we want to make every effort to stay connected with families.
