November 9th-November 13th: News, Updates, Information regarding Hybrid Schedules & Student Celebrations

Dear Bernheim Community,

It is hard to believe we are already in November but here we are and what a year it has been! As per Dr. Bacon's communication, with Bullitt County still in the "red' and an increasing incidence rate we will continue with remote learning through November 13th.  The Board and Dr. Bacon will update us again next week regarding the week of November 16th.

On Wednesday we sent each student and family their assigned group for the In-Person Hybrid schedule.  All teachers have been communicating with students throughout the day as to if they are an A group student or a B group student.  If you are unsure of your student's assigned group please check infinite campus messages and your email.

The move to the Hybrid schedule will impact BMS BCA students slightly so please do be aware of the changes as noted below.

THIS WILL ONLY BEGIN ONCE WE COME OUT OF REMOTE LEARNING! PLEASE KEEP CHECKING YOUR EMAILS FROM BCPS, THE BCPS WEBSITE AND FACEBOOK PAGES.

Per Dr. Bacon's Communication BCPS will still be in Remote learning next week.  This is the schedule for reporting to school after we come out of Remote Learning.  Please do make sure you have your student here on the correct day.

BCPS will be sending the Leaning Model Selection Form through Infinite Campus. Where you will be able to select the Hybrid Learning Model for In-Person Learning or BCA for the SECOND Semester.  Each students will need to have the survey completed by November 20th. If you have multiple students in the household then you will need to complete the survey multiple times.  Please be very careful with your choices so that we can move forward with accurate data!

REPORT CARDS, CASE DATA, and other student information will be mailed home to all students on November 12th.

Academic Support will be on Tuesdays and Fridays for students who are currently in need of extra support.  ESS invitations are being sent home with report cards.  Please contact us if you have questions.

WORLD KINDNESS DAY IS FRIDAY NOVEMBER 13TH.  There is no time like right now to talk to your child about the true meaning of being kind.  Kind isn't just nice, it is the out of the ordinary and sometimes uncomfortable act doing for others.  We have the absolute best kids at BMS, and the absolute best school community! BMS News Bytes is our weekly newsletter, please favorite this website. BMS Class Highlights is each teacher's snapshot about what's going on in class.  The school website has all forms, information, calendar updates and district information along with links to individual teacher websites (also linked above) which are extremely useful to both students and parents. It is important that you log into Parent Portal and choose the option to receive email and texts from the school.  Not only can you view your students grades, attendance and other information it is also a great communication tool to keep you connected.  Lastly, please follow us on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Remind.
