9/23/24. ~ BMS NEWSBYTES: News, Updates and Celebrations

Dear Bernheim Community,

Thank you for your patience as we have navigated through the disruptions of the last week.  Your student’s safety is our number one priority every day.  In spite of it all, our students and staffulty have excelled, and risen to high expectations.

Friday we had our second annual Advisory Crew Team Building Day as we began working on our second annual Title 1 Community Contributor Carnival.  Students had a great day and we were very proud of them.  We spent the first part of the day reflecting on the importance of always choosing to Be The Good.  We have great kids!

Monday and Wednesday of next week is the first round of ELS testing.  Monday is Reading and Wednesday is Math.  STUDENTS MUST HAVE THEIR CHROMEBOOKS AND CHARGERS.

Thursday the Fire Department will visit BMS for a Fire Safety presentation; Ms. Ackermans STEM classes are working on Fire Safety this week! We very much appreciate our local heroes supporting the learning at BMS.

SAME DAY TRANSPORTATION CHANGES??

COUNSELOR’S CORNER

Huge Shout-Out to all our students and staff for supporting our Go For Gold Campaign this week! It’s wonderful to see how our community comes together to support others, and your kindness truly shows the power of caring.

Our Advisories have started diving into our Graduate Profile Competencies linked to the Community Contributor Carnival.  Make plans to join us for the event on October 24th!  Ask your student which non-profit organization their advisory will be promoting and supporting!
